Our reports are submitted to Ergon Energy along with a High Loads Transport application. This is valid for 28 days from the date of submission.
If your load is between 5.5m and 6.5m high, you will most likely require electrical line lifting services, police escort and pilot escort.

- CQ High Loads provides a scope to determine if the job is possible and/or if other routes need to be taken
- CQ High Loads provides a quote for the service which includes all necessary permits for high loads
- You organise police and transport escorts and permits prior to transportation
- CQ High Loads lines up dates and prepares to conduct the service
- CQ High Loads arranges Ergon Energy permits three days prior
- During transportation there is constant communication between all personnel

Our equipment
CQ High Loads is serious about completing electrical line lifting as safely and accurately as possible and we invest in the best equipment to help us get the job done properly.
All our equipment is tested in-house and undergoes a test and tag audit every six months.
Hot sticks
CQ High Loads use electrical hot sticks for high voltage, live line work. These hot sticks allow our team to manipulate energized conductors and equipment from a safe distance to provide a higher level of clearance.
These fully insulated hot sticks are tested every six months to ensure safety standards are met on each job.
Authorised vehicles
CQ High Loads vehicles are fitted with appropriate equipment to ensure real-time communication during the transportation process.
Appropriate standard Personal Protective Equipment
Our technicians are fitted with appropriate PPE including gloves and appropriate clothing.
Lasers
CQ High Loads are currently experimenting with laser technology to measure the height of wires.
